Tahir-ul-Qadri – the Chairman of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) – has announced to quit politics.

According to the media reports, the PAT Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri announced his retirement from Pakistani politics while holding a press conference in London today. He said that I have fulfilled my duty now I am satisfied.

The PAT Chairman further stated that I have done my duty, I called out 22 crore people, made my workers martyred, and our blood was shed, voiced every day for 75 days in Islamabad, that if you don’t get up today. So you will never be able to get up, the doors will be closed for you.

“I have told so much, now my conscience is satisfied, now I do not want to make any statement on politics,” Dr. Qadri added.
