Wahab Riaz organizes Pink Games for women in Lahore

The Sports Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister, Wahab Riaz has said that Pink Games are being organized for women in Lahore from June 7 to 10.

According to the details, Sports Advisor Punjab Wahab Riaz made this announcement while addressing a press conference in Lahore along with Deputy Commissioner Rafia Haider and DG Sports Punjab Dr. Asif Tufail today (Wednesday, May 24).

In his remarks, Wahab Riaz said that the aim of the Pink Games Lahore is to provide maximum opportunities to women athletes, and prizes of 5 million have been kept in it. He said that Deputy Commissioner Rafia Haider will be the ambassador of the Games.

Deputy Commissioner Rafia Haider said that women’s games are being organized for the first time, in the first phase, competitions will be held in Lahore Division, and 700 athletes will participate in Nishtar Park Sports Complex. She said that there will be 7 different sports competitions for 4 days, and university-level players will participate in these games.

While talking about the issue of organizing the Asia Cup, Wahab said that Asia Cup has been made a big issue, and matches should be held in Pakistan, this is a good thing, as all the big teams have come to Pakistan. He said that it would be a good thing if the Asia Cup is held under the hybrid model.
