The international community and institutions have deeply appreciated the resolutions of Pakistan regarding environment protection.
This has been stated by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhary Fawad Hussain in his message on the occasion of World Environment Day on Saturday.
The Information Minister has said that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) took the initiative of green environmental revolution through restoration and promotion of forests and large scale plantation.
Chaudhary Fawad Hussain further stated that the word ‘Billion Tree’ has become the recognition of Pakistan and many other countries are also following this project.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan is sensitizing the youth and world about the importance of environmental improvement,” he said, adding that the efforts of Imran Khan regarding improving the environment and planting trees have internationally been acknowledged.
