The first Pakistani student, stranded in Ukraine due Russian invasion, Junaid Hussain Elahi has returned home from Ukraine.
According to media reports, Junaid Hussain Elahi is a resident of Karachi’s Garden area. He had gone to Ukraine four months ago for medical study but was stranded there due to a Russian invasion on February 24.

Talking to media at Karachi airport, the Pakistani student Junaid Hussain Elahi has said that there are still many helpless students in Ukraine. He thanked Senator Khuda Bakhsh Babar. He said that Senator Khuda Bakhsh Babar arranged the ticket for him.
The Pakistani student termed the role of Pakistani embassy in evacuating Pakistanis stranded in Ukraine as zero and said that the embassy said that they would only provide accommodation for 3 days, after that nothing.
It is pertinent to mention here that Junaid Hussain has arrived in Karachi via Istanbul.
