Mahira Khan receives Best Actress Award for Prince Charming

The Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan received the Best Actress award for her short movie Prince Charming at the Indus Valley International Film Festival in New Delhi, India.

According to media reports, the short film Prince Charming was directed by actor-turned-director Sheheryar Munawar last year. This 12-minute movie was his first directorial. Mahira played the lead role opposite Zahid Ahmed in Prince Charming.

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has recently received Best Actress award for her short movie Prince Charming at the Indus Valley International Film Festival in New Delhi, India.

The Pakistani star said in a statement, “This award is dedicated to all the women who are suffering silently from post-marital depression. “Such topics are considered taboo in our society, but here we are. I’m glad this role touched the audience’s hearts; it’s one of the roles that will live on in my heart forever.”
