The Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), Maryam Nawaz claimed that her father, former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, was poisoned during his imprisonment.
According to the media reports, Maryam Nawaz made these remarks in an interview. She said that the platelets of Nawaz Sharif fell due to being poisoned during his imprisonment.

The PMLN Senior Vice President said that when the condition of Nawaz Sharif worsened and he was in a life and death struggle, some people’s hands and feet were swollen, it was the compulsion of these people to send Nawaz Sharif out.
Maryam Nawaz accused former Prime Minister, Chairman PTI Imran Khan and said that somehow it will come out that Imran Khan was involved in this matter.
Before Maryam Nawaz, her brother Hussain Nawaz, the eldest son of the former Prime Minister, had also expressed his fear during Nawaz Sharif’s NAB detention that his father might have been poisoned, however he denied it. No one was charged in this regard.
