PM Imran Khan performs Umrah in Makkah

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan along with his delegation performed Umrah in Makkah last night.

According to media reports, the Prime Minister is in Saudi Arabia on a three-day official visit. He was received by a number of officials upon arrival at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, and the special force for the security of the Grand Mosque.

During his three-day official visit, PM Imran Khan will attend the launch ceremony of “Middle East Green Initiative Summit”, being held in Saudi capital, Riyadh. He will share his perspective on the challenges faced by developing countries due to climate change at the summit.

The Prime Minister will also highlight Pakistan’s experience of launching nature-based solutions to address the environmental challenges including 10 Billion Tree Tsunami.

It is to be mentioned here that the first of its kind in the Middle East Region, “Green Saudi Arabia” and “Green Middle East” initiatives have been launched by the Crown Prince aimed at protecting the nature and planet.
