After Dirilis Ertugrul or Ertugrul Ghazi, the state run channel PTV will air another Turkish show “Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu” on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The trailer of the urdu version of ‘Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu’ has been released and it has been titled as ‘Raah-e-Ishq’. However, no date has been confirmed as to when it will air.
According to Turkish publication Daily Sabah, Yunus Emre was a great Turkish thinker and poet “who has been a leading light for humanity for centuries with his suggestions to adopt the values of patience, satisfaction, tolerance, generosity, goodness and virtue in line with the teachings of Islam”.
The thinker, whose exact date of birth is unknown, lived in Anatolia from the mid-13th century to the first quarter of the 14th century, the publication said quoting sources.
