ATC extends bail plea of Sadaqat Ali Abbasi in May 9 case

The bail plea of Sadaqat Ali Abbasi – the former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader – has been extended by the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi.

According to the media reports, the anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi approved the bail plea of former MNA and PTI Leader Sadaqat Ali Abbasi today (Tuesday, October 10) against surety bonds worth Rs 50,000.

It is pertinent to mention here that former parliamentarian Sadaqat Abbasi announced parting ways with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Monday blaming PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan for events that happened on May 9.

In an interview with a private television channel, the former member of the National Assembly (MNA) declared, “I proclaim leaving the PTI, the office of the PTI’s North Punjab president, and politics. The interview with Abbasi takes place a few days after he returned home after going “missing” for almost a month.
