First International Day against Islamophobia is being observed across the world on Wednesday.
On the occasion of First International Day against Islamophobia, the Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres said in his message that the day is a call for action to stamp out the poison of anti-Muslim hatred.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres further stated that discrimination diminishes us all and we must stand up against it.
“Today and every day, we must counter the forces of division by reaffirming our common humanity,” the UN Secretary General added.
