The Safe City Authority project will be launched in Nankana Sahib soon, the Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said.
According to media reports, Punjab Chief Minister has expressed these views while chairing a meeting of Authority in Lahore on Thursday. The meeting gave in principle approval for budget of Punjab Safe Cities Authority and also approved release of funds to install cameras at entry and exit routes of Lahore city.
Sardar Usman Buzdar further stated that the project will also be introduced in Rawalpindi and this network will be expanded to other cities as well.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the performance of Authority in protection of public lives and properties besides traffic management.
