Groundbreaking of National Cancer Hospital at PIMS performed today

The Federal Minister for National Health Services, Abdul Qadir Patel performed the groundbreaking of the National Cancer Hospital at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad today (Monday, July 17th).

While the groundbreaking ceremony of the National Cancer Hospital at PIMS, the Minister for National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel said that this project will be completed at a cost of 10.8 billion rupees by June 2025.

Abdul Qadir Patel regretted that this cancer hospital in the public sector was delayed by the previous government out of ego and stubbornness. He said this delay has increased the cost of this project.

The Minister for National Health Services further stated that over the last fourteen months, the present government has made strenuous efforts to bring improvement in every sector including health.
