IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq took notice of Imran Khan’s arrest

The Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Justice Amir Farooq took notice of the arrest of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to the media reports, the Islamabad High Court summoned IG Islamabad and Interior Secretary within 15 minutes.

IHC Chief Justice also directed the Additional Attorney General to appear in 15 minutes and said to take the instructions and immediately tell who has done this work.

Expressing his anger at the arrest of Imran Khan, Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that if action has to be taken, it will be against the Prime Minister and the ministers as well. He inquired to also tell in which case the arrest was made.

On this occasion, Advocate General Islamabad requested to extend the time from 15 minutes to half an hour. The court rejected the plea and ordered them to appear within 15 minutes.
