The Nation will celebrate Independence Day 2024 tomorrow (Wednesday, August 14) with a renewed pledge to work with the spirit of the Pakistan Movement to make the country a true Islamic welfare state.
According to the media reports, the day will dawn with a thirty-one gun salute at the Federal Capital and a twenty-one gun salute at the provincial headquarters. Mosques will hold special morning prayers for the nation’s peace, unity, and prosperity. The raising of the national flag in Islamabad will be the centerpiece of the festivities. Around the nation, district, divisional, and provincial offices will all have ceremonies to raise the flag.

On Independence Day 2024, Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television will honor the tremendous efforts made by the heroes of the Pakistan Movement in making Pakistan a reality, as well as showcase their services. In the meanwhile, roadside stands offering adult and kid clothing, stickers, badges, flags, and other items have been established in every city across the nation.
The national flag has been hoisted on the roofs of different public buildings while various public and private buildings have also been decorated with colorful lights.
