The world’s known wrestler and actor, John Cena has tied the knot to girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh in an enchanting Florida wedding.
According to PEOPLE.com report, as per a marriage certificate obtained by the outlet, the two said ‘I do’ at an attorney’s office on Monday in Tampa, Florida. John Cena obtained a marriage license on Friday.
The actor and wrestler got candid about his romance with Shariatzadeh while talking to Entertainment Tonight. He revealed that he met her on the set of Playing with Fire.
John Cena said last October, “It’s a wonderful day for a movie premiere, and I got a beautiful date. What’s truly special about this one is that, no matter what projects I’m involved in the future, this one will always have a special meaning because I got to film a special project and meet someone special.”
The WWE star was earlier on involved in a long term relationship with fellow WWE Superstar Nikki Bella. They were engaged with their relationship also roped in a high profile WWE storyline. John Cena and Nikki Bella split in 2018, following which, the former started dating Shariatzadeh.
However, this is Cena’s second wedding, he was previously married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 to 2012.
