Katrina Kaif – the stunning Bollywood Diva – has revealed that she wanted to be only a model when she moved to Mumbai, and Malaika Arora was one of her role models.
According to the details, the Bollywood actress has expressed her views in a recent interview. Katrina Kaif talked candidly about her experience and how, in her early modeling career, Malaika Arora served as a role model for her. Looking back on her career, she disclosed that her first goal upon moving to Mumbai was to become a model and that acting was only a coincidental side gig.
Katrina Kaif said, “I wanted to be a model when I first started working as one in Bombay. Madhu Sapre and Lakshmi Menon served as my role models. Those were the era’s supermodels. and, in actuality, Malaika Arora. At the time, she was still modeling. I held these women in high regard. And as a model, that’s what I aimed to be.”

On the work front, Katrina is currently gearing up for the release of Merry Christmas. She will be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi. The movie’s trailer went viral on social media shortly after it was released. The lead actors in the movie are Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif. Tamil and Hindi versions of the movie will be released simultaneously. The cast of the Hindi version consists of Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, Sanjay Kapoor, and Tinnu Anand. Aside from them, the Tamil version of the movie stars Rajesh Williams, Kavin Jay Babu, Shanmugaraja, and Radhika Sarathkumar. Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar, meantime, will make special cameo appearances in both versions.
Merry Christmas, which has Sriram Raghavan as the director and Ramesh Taurani, Sanjay Routray, Jaya Taurani, and Kewal Garg as producers, is scheduled to premiere on January 12, 2024.
