KCR to start operation from Thursday, fixed fares Rs.50 per travel: Rashid

Karachi Circular Railway will start operation from Thursday, the Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said, adding that it will be made a modern urban transport system and operated initially from Pipri to Karachi City station.

According to media reports, the Railways Minister has stated these while addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that the fare has been fixed at fifty rupees per travel.

While answering a question, he said elections were held in the most transparent manner in Gilgit-Baltistan. He said the election is the triumph of democracy.

“The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) will form a government in the region with two-third majority.
