The interim bail of former Director-General Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA), Manzoor Qadir Kaka, has been canceled by the anti-corruption court today (Monday, July 31st).
According to the media reports, the anti-corruption court canceled the interim bail of former DG SBCA, Manzoor Qadir Kaka in the illegal allotment case of Nasla Tower land. The court has taken action against the former Director-General of the Sindh Building Control Authority and canceled his bail. The bail had been granted on a bond of 500,000 rupees.
The investigation officer and lawyer, Sarkar Sharafuddin strongly opposed the bail application during the court hearing and present compelling evidence against former DG SBCA. During the court, it was also revealed that the former DG SBCA and several others involved in the case were accused of passing an illegal map of government land through the Sindh Building Control Authority.
It is to be mentioned here that the Nasla Tower was ultimately demolished in 2022 due to illegal construction following the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The case has since been under investigation to hold accountable those responsible for the unlawful actions leading to the construction of the tower.
