Miftah Ismail unaware of game changer technology Web3

The Federal Minister for Finance Miftah Ismail is unaware of the game changer technology Web3 and he is being criticized by it.

According to details, the Finance Minister Miftah Ismail is currently on a visit to the United States and is seeking relief for the crisis-stricken Pakistani economy.

While meeting with officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, he also participated in a dialogue with the think tank Atlantic Council. However, the reason why Miftah Ismail is being criticized on Twitter in Pakistan is not negotiations with the IMF, but a technology called Web3.

During the Atlantic Council event when economist Uzair Younis asked the Pakistani Finance Minister that what he thought of Web3 because he and his colleagues had analyzed that it could be a source of billions of dollars in exports for Pakistan in the next 20 years.

While answering the question, Miftah Ismail has said that he admits that he does not know about Web Three. He said that he was aware of the difficulties faced by the digital economy and art tech in Pakistan and would try to alleviate these difficulties but his knowledge about promoting this industry was limited.
