The government is taking every possible step for inter-religious harmony and to promote interfaith dialogue in the country.
This has been stated by the Special Representative to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Religious Harmony Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi while addressing a news conference in Multan on Tuesday.
Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has said that it is the foremost duty of the state to protect the rights of minorities. He said that problems faced by the Madrasas will be solved on priority basis.
The Special Representative on Religious Harmony has also condemned attacks in Saudi Arabia by Houthi rebels. He said that Pakistan has good bilateral relation with all Arab countries.
