The Prime Minister Imran Khan has set a new democratic tradition by deciding to take a fresh vote of confidence from the National Assembly.
This has been stated by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz while talking to a private news channel.
Senator Shibli Faraz has said that the Prime Minister took the decision on moral grounds which has worried the opposition leaders, as they do not believe in democratic norms.
The Information Minister further stated that it has now been decided that only democratic values will prevail in the country.
“The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s candidate for the women reserved seat got 174 votes which proved that the party has majority in the National Assembly,” he added.
