Pakistan, China to celebrate 70 years of diplomatic ties by holding over 100 events

To celebrate the 70 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both the countries, Pakistan and China have agreed to hold over 100 events.

According to media reports, the spokesperson of Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Wenbin has said that through initial communications Pakistan and China agreed to organize the events in a wide range of areas including the political, economic, trade, cultural and military sectors.

Wang Wenbin further stated that the people from all walks of life in both countries, especially the young generation, will be welcomed to take an active part to enrich the celebrations.

“With the concerted efforts, both the sides will surely carry forward the traditional friendship, expand and deepen practical cooperation in various fields, bring the two peoples closer, and achieve greater development in the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership,” he added.

It is to be mentioned here that the diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on May 21, 1951.
