Pakistan economy revives following deal with IMF: Finance Minister

Dr. Shamshad Akhtar – the Caretaker Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs – has said that the economic activities of Pakistan have been enhanced following the deal agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the successful implementation of reforms.

According to the media reports, Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar expressed her views regarding Pakistan and the IMF deal while talking to journalists in Islamabad today (Friday, November 17). She said that the reforms also led to the improvement of the business environment besides boosting the investors’ confidence.

Speaking on the occasion, the Caretaker Finance Minister further stated that the government would continue its efforts to achieve the stability of the overall economy and balanced growth, by reducing debts and carrying out development priorities as well as governance reforms in government enterprises.
