Pakistan to be most affected if situation further deteriorates in Afghanistan: FM

The Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan.

According to media reports, the Foreign Minister has expressed these remarks while chairing a meeting of Advisory Council for Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Friday.

During the meeting, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that if situation further deteriorates in Afghanistan, Pakistan will be most affected by it. He said Pakistan considers peace imperative for regional connectivity and development.

The Foreign Minister further stated that the use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities in Pakistan is deplorable. He also apprised the council members about investigation into Dasu incident.

The Advisory Council for Foreign Affairs also discussed the situation in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
