Pakistan’s exports crossed 2 billion mark after July 2020: Razak Dawood

The Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce, Abdul Razak Dawood has expressed satisfaction over the increase in pharmaceutical exports. He said the Pharma exports have grown by 22.6 percent to 68.1 million dollars in the first quarter of current fiscal year as compared to 55.6 million dollars in the corresponding period last year.

According to details, the Advisor on Commerce has stated this in a tweet on Monday. He said this has been achieved due to the hard work of Pharmaceutical exporters and renewed focus on exports.

In another tweet the Razak Dawood has said, “Our exports have maintained the growth trend in October 2020. Our exports have crossed the 2 billion mark after July 2020 and are back on track to pre-Covid19 levels. This is despite the contraction in our major markets due to coronavirus and the uncertainty created by recent resurgence of the Covid19 pandemic.”

He also congratulate all the exporters.
