The Interim Management Committee formed to run the affairs of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was dissolved while PCB Chairman Najam Sethi was suspended.
According to the details, the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) also issued a notification to dissolve the PCB Management Committee and suspend PCB Chairman Najam Sethi.

According to the notification, the PCB Management Committee has been dissolved after the expiry of the extension period. It also said that the affairs of the PCB are assigned to the Election Commissioner appointed by the Patron-in-Chief of the Board.
It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had appointed Ahmed Shahzad Farooq Rana as Election Commissioner.
