Transparency in elections is of vital importance to strengthen democracy and ensuring welfare of masses.
This has been stated by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz while talking to media persons in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Senator Shibli Faraz further stated that the government is committed to end the obsolete system of buying and selling of votes and give chance to capable candidates in elections.
The Information Minister has said that the opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) believes in politics of buying and selling and it is also representing the status quo.
