The internal rift of the opposition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) stands fully exposed, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said.
According to media reports, the Foreign Minister has made these remarks in a statement on Wednesday. He said it has always been his stance that this is an unnatural alliance.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that their nexus is only to protect the personal interests. He said that the PDM parties expressed their doubts about each other in the Senate elections.
The Foreign Minister further stated that the Peoples Party (PPP) Co Chairman yesterday linked their resignations with the return of Nawaz Sharif which was rejected by Maryam Nawaz in the same meeting.
“Peoples Party will never tender resignations and sacrifice their government in Sindh,” he added.
