The Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi to take all possible steps for the financial assistance and prosperity of the fishermen.
According to media reports, the Minister for Maritime Affairs has called on Prime Minister Islamabad on Monday.
During the meeting, Syed Ali Haider Zaidi has briefed Prime Minister about the overall situation of the ports and also discussed provision of easy loans to the fishermen and Karachi situation.
Meanwhile, the Premier has said bringing the plundered money back to the country is amongst the foremost priorities of the government.
Imran Khan has made these remarks while talking to renowned economist Shahid Kardar in Islamabad on Monday.
During the meeting, they discussed overall economic situation and the steps to check money laundering.
The Prime Minister has noted that the illegal flow of money from the poor countries is the basic reason of their backwardness and poverty.
