PM lauds economic team efforts regarding economic discipline and better debt management

The Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed satisfaction over the economic stabilization in the country and said that the benefit of improvement in economy must reach the common man at earliest.

According to media reports, the Prime Minister has stated this while chairing a meeting in Islamabad to review the country’s economic situation on Saturday.

Imran Khan has said Pakistan’s economy is growing fast in the region. He lauded the economic team for its efforts regarding economic discipline and better debt management.

The Prime Minister has said that the strategy of the government to tackle the novel coronavirus pandemic was hailed at international level.

He described the positive trends depicted in the country’s Large Scale Manufacturing sector as a good omen for the economy.

The possible effects of the second wave of Coronavirus on the country’s economy as well as the protection of poor segments of the society through Kafalat Programme were also discussed in detail during the meeting.
