The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Member National Assembly (MNA) Chauhdry Mohammad Ashraf has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) of Punjab Tuesday for encroachment on state land.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Anti-Corruption Establishment said that MNA Chauhdry Mohammad Ashraf is a PMLN lawmaker elected from NA-148.

The ACE further stated that Ashraf was arrested after a case was registered against him. He has been accused of encroaching on state land by forgery.
The anti-corruption department has registered a case after the inquiry, the statement added.
