The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister, Imran Khan has said that if the Supreme Court does not provide his party “protection” from police action for the next round of their protest, he would opt for a different strategy wherein his supporters would be “prepared” to deal with the situation.

According to media reports, the PTI Chairman Imran Khan has made these remarks while addressing the lawyers convention in Peshawar on Monday. He said that PTI would make a plan under this strategy for dealing with the obstacles.

The former Prime Minister has said that last time they weren’t prepared and stuck unprepared. He said that this time they will be prepared. He declared that this was a jihad for him and he will not accept this imported government at any cost.

The PTI Chairman came down hard on the ruling coalition, reiterating that they were brought in through a foreign conspiracy. He also lambasted the government for the crackdown on the participants of the much hyped but short-lived Azadi March held on May 25.

During his speech at Peshawar Lawyers Convention, Imran Khan said that they have asked for a ruling from the SC over whether or not they have the democratic right to stage a peaceful protest? If this is a democracy, under what basis were we stopped? How can they stop the chief ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan?” he asked.
