Return of Nawaz Sharif would make no difference to us: Rashid

The Federal Minister for Interior, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that arrival of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan has been hyped for no reason.

While talking to media on Wednesday, the Interior Minister has said that it does not make any difference whether PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif comes or not. He said that each each party asserts that the establishment should patronise them, however, establishment asserts that they will back the elected administration.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed further stated that they have prevented the mafia group from establishing a foothold in any city. He said that they have not permitted any thugs to gain control.

While answering a question, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government will fulfil their five-year tenure by all means. He said that they will contest the next elections with full force under the leadership of PM Imran Khan.

The Interior Minister hoped that PM Imran Khan will bring inflation to an end in the fifth year of his tenure.
