The election of the new Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) will be held today (Monday) and Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan likely to be elected.
According to media reports, the united opposition consisting of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) boycotted the election.

The candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan is likely to be elected unopposed as Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir.
The President of Azad Kashmir has convened an assembly session today for the election of the Prime Minister. The session will be held at 10:30 am in the Legislative Assembly Hall, Muzaffarabad.
