Various countries praises Pakistan’s conciliatory role in Afghanistan: FM

The Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that peace in Afghanistan is very important for regional stability.

According to media reports, the Foreign Minister has expressed his views while talking to different delegations in Multan on Monday.

On the occasion, the Foreign Minister has said that Pakistan wants an inclusive political settlement in Afghanistan in which all partners are united for durable peace. He said that Pakistan is moving forward with the desire for peace in the region.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi further stated that during his recent meetings with leaders of various countries, they praised Pakistan’s conciliatory role in Afghanistan.

“Pakistan hasn’t closed its border with Afghanistan, but has taken steps regarding border management to prevent illegal crossing,” he added.
