Zain Bukhari – the National under-11 age group squash player – passed away in Lahore due to electric current today (Thursday, August 10).
According to the media reports, the news has been confirmed by the spokesman of the Punjab Squash Association. He said that Squash Player Zain Bukhari died due to electrocution from the motor of the house.

The spokesman of the Punjab Squash Association further stated that Zain was playing at home when he was electrocuted by touching the motor. Due to the rain, the motor was electrified.
The Punjab Squash Association expressed grief over Zain Bukhari’s death and said that the sudden death of the national player is deeply regretted. Punjab Squash Association is an equal participant in the grief of Zain Bukhari’s family.
The acting Secretary of the Punjab Squash Association, Muhammad Mansoor has said that due to the death of Zain, the celebration of Azadi League has been postponed. The Age Group Squash League was scheduled to be played at the Punjab Squash Complex from tomorrow.
