21 deaths, 1,708 new Covid19 cases reported in last 24 hours, tally rises to 348,184

21 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours due to Covid19 pandemic in Pakistan and 1,708 persons have been tested positive.

According to the latest figures by the NCOC, the total number of positive cases has surged to 348,184 and the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 7,021.

Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the novel coronavirus pandemic. The total number of confirmed positive cases have reached 151,352 in Sindh with 2,690 fatalities.

Punjab is the second worst-hit province by the pandemic with 107,831 confirmed cases and 2,429 fatalities.

The total number of confirmed cases are 41,069 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 1,294 fatalities and in Balochistan 16,195 cases are registered with 154 deaths.

Islamabad reported 22,432 cases and 247 deaths, Azad Kashmir 4,911 cases and 114 deaths, while Gilgit-Baltistan registered 4,394 cases and 93 deaths so far.

4,773,496 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Pakistan and 31,989 in last 24 hours. 320,065 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,109 patients are in critical condition.
