According to the media reports, Caretaker Minister for National Food Security and Research Dr. Kausar Abdullah Malik expressed his views while addressing a workshop in Islamabad today (Thursday, September 28).
On the occasion, the Caretaker Minister said we should focus on developing crop varieties that can withstand the challenges posed by climate change. He stressed the crucial role of research in boosting agricultural production.
Highlighting the significance of the agriculture sector, the Minister said it can contribute to overall economic development and address our economic woes.
