Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of upcoming American historical drama film “A Call To Spy”
The film has been directed by Lydia Dean Pilcher. The cast of the film includes Sarah Megan Thomas, Stana Katic, Linus Roache, Rossif Sutherland, Samuel Roukin, Andrew Richardson, Laila Robins, Marc Rissmann, Mathilde Ollivier, Lola Pashalinski, David Schaal, Rob Heaps, Matt Salinger and Marceline Hugot.
The film also stars the Indian versatile actress Radhika Apte in a pivotal role. She played a muslim girl character in the film.
Amazon Prime has said about the film, “In the beginning of WWII, with Britain becoming desperate, Churchill orders his new spy agency — the Special Operations Executive (SOE) — to recruit and train women as spies. Their daunting mission: conduct sabotage and build a resistance. SOEsspymistress,` Vera Atkins (Stana Katic), recruits two unusual candidates: Virginia Hall (Sarah Megan Thomas), an ambitious American with a wooden leg, and Noor Inayat Khan (Radhika Atpe), a Muslim pacifist. Together, these women help to undermine the Nazi regime in France, leaving an unmistakable legacy in their wake. Inspired by true stories.”
The film will stream online on 11th December exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
