The candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Abdul Qayyum Niazi has been elected as the 13th Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to media reports, Abdul Qayyum Niazi has secured thirty three votes for the slot of Leader of the House in Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.

His rival and joint candidate of the Opposition, Chaudhry Latif Akbar has secured fifteen votes.
The new elected Priem Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was elected from LA-18 Abbaspur.
