Akshay Kumar files Rs5 billion defamation suit against YouTuber for bringing his name in Sushant’s case

The Indian actor, Akshay Kumar has filed a Rs500-crore (Rs5 billion) defamation suit against a YouTuber named Rashid Siddiqui.

According to media reports, the YouTuber Rashid Siddiqui has brought up Akshay Kumar’s name in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He named Akshay on several occasions in his videos and levelled various allegations.

Earlier, Rashid Siddiqui dragged the name of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son, minister Aditya Thackeray, in the case.

This time he claimed in his videos that Akshay was unhappy with Sushant Singh Rajput getting big films like “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story”, and alleged that the actor had secret meetings with Aditya Thackeray and the Mumbai Police. He also said in his video that Akshay also helped Rhea Chakraborty to escape to Canada.

Siddiqui a civil engineer from Bihar and earned around Rs15 lakh in a span of four months and his subscribers also grew from 2lakh to over 3lakh.
