Ali Amin Gandapur has been nominated for the post of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today (Tuesday, February 13).

According to the media reports, the nomination of Ali Amin Gandapur for the post of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been confirmed by the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan while talking to journalists.

Speaking on the occasion, PTI Founder Imran Khan said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will not negotiate with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahid Qoumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) for the formation of the government.

The media reports claimed that the PTI-backed independent candidates were expected to join the Jamaat-e-Islami. The reports said that the two parties made contact after the general elections. In this regard, committees have been formed after the PTI chairman and the JI ameer made contacts. A three-member committee has been formed by both sides for the task.
