Aon Abbas Buppi part ways with PTI and Politics

Aon Abbas Buppi – the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) – condemned the May 9 incidents and announced his separation from the party.

According to the media reports, Political Leader Aon Abbas Buppi – who served as the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for E-Commerce – made the announcement in a video statement today (Friday, September 1). He said in the video that he condemned the events of May 9 and said that he is resigning from the presidency of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf South Punjab.

The Political Leader further stated in the video statement that he also announced his withdrawal from politics.

Aon Abbas is a Pakistani politician who has represented the Punjab Province in the Senate of Pakistan since March 2021. He served as the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for E-Commerce from November 2021 to April 2022. He is an Insaf member from Pakistan. He was chosen as a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate for the Senate of Pakistan in the 2021 election on a general seat from Punjab. He was chosen by Imran Khan, the party’s leader, to serve as the South Punjab chapter president of the PTI on June 4th, 2022.
