Attacks happen everywhere including England, New Zealand: Daren Sammy

The mentor and former captain of West Indies cricket team, Daren Sammy has said that he is disappointed over New Zealand Cricket’s decision to cancel the Pakistan tour.

Talking to a private news channel on Monday, the Coach of Peshawar Zalmi has said that if field experts are saying that Pakistan is safe, then one should trust them.

Daren Sammy further stated that attacks have been seen in New Zealand and England and incidents have also been reported in Australia. He said that incidents are happening everywhere in the world, but no one creates an uproar over that.

“I have been coming to Pakistan for the last 6 years, it has always been a good experience,” he said, adding that the situation in Pakistan has changed.

Earlier, the former West Indies captain shared that the people used to ask if it was safe to go to Pakistan, but now they ask where to go and what to eat in Pakistan.

It is to be mentioned here that the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) backed out of the much-awaited tour on Friday, citing a security alert from their government. Pakistan assured the team of complete security, but they insisted on calling off the series.
