The workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and police came face to face during Azadi March at D-Chowk in Islamabad, which turned D-Chowk into a battlefield.

According to media reports, the PTI workers pelted stones at the police during the Azadi March. The police started shellinf on PTI workers to disperse them.
The reports further stated that after the shelling, security personnel have started making arrests at D-Chowk. Some workers have been taken into custody.
