Balochistan provides best access to Central Asia for enhancing trade relations: President

The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi has said that Balochistan provides best access to Central Asian States for enhancing trade and economic relations with these countries.

According to media reports, the President has made these remarks while talking to Parliamentarians in Quetta on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Dr. Arif Alvi said that Gwadar has a great significance in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor Project. He emphasized the need to focus on equipping the youth of the country with modern skills in view of the CPEC.

The President further stated that there are ample opportunities for development of agriculture, fisheries and livestock sectors in Balochistan.

“We have to take steps in the right direction and ensure prudent use of available resources,” President Alvi added.

The meeting also discussed the security situation, management, tourism and overall situation of the province.
