Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reaches India for SCO Council of Foreign Ministers

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reached Goa, India to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Foreign Ministers’ meeting.

According to the media reports, the Indian officials welcomed the Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the Goa airport.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is attending the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting at the invitation of the current Chair, Minister for External Affairs of India Dr. S. Jaishankar.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said our participation in the meeting reflects Pakistan’s commitment to the SCO Charter and processes and the importance that Pakistan accords to the region in its foreign policy priorities.

Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had also attended the last meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers held in July last year in Tashkent.
