The British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan was robbed off an expensive watch at gunpoint in Leyton, East London on Tuesday.

According to details, the news of robbery has been announced by the boxing star himself in a statement on social networking website Twitter.

Boxer Amir Khan took to his Twitter account and narrated the incident. He said that that he was robbed off the watch while crossing the road with his wife, Faryal Makhdoom, in Leyton, East London.

The British-Pakistani boxer further stated that the robbers pointed the gun towards his face before he took off his watch and gave it to them. However, he assured his followers that he and his wife were safe.

According to media reports, the watch was worth around Rs20 million in Pakistani rupees. It was made of 19 karat rose gold with 719 diamonds embedded in it.
