Pakistani Boxer Muhammad Waseem had previously had a Danish visa application being denied. In an interview with a local news outlet, the two-time WBC silver medalist stated his disappointment about this. “They denied my visa, saying that if I went there, I would vanish, even though I have won two world titles. I was trained in London with my trainers, and I travel the world. To get ready for the impending world title bout, I had to get to Malta early,” he declared.
The “falcon” showed that he was confident in his ability to defeat Sabelo earlier in August. “I am hopeful for success against my opponent,” he said. Waseem went on, “It is very important to me to fight for the world title, and I do not want to miss this opportunity.” He called on the Pakistani government, the army chief, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to step in and assist in securing his visa.
