Chief Justice adjourns suo-moto notice of political situation till tomorrow

The Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Omar Atta Bindiyal has adjourned the suo-moto notice till tomorrow of the prevailing political situation in the country.

According to media reports, the three-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan comprising CJP Omar Atta Bindiyal, Justice Aijaz-ul Ahsan and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar heard the suo-moto notice.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has adjourned the suo-moto notice till Monday of the prevailing political situation in the country.

It is to be noted that the CJP Justice Omar Atta Bindiyal took the suo-moto notice as a result of situation emerged after the Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri rejected the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister Imran Khan without holding voting on it.
